Characters (naruto)

These are just a couple of the characters in Naruto, this list includes most of the main characters. (more will be added soon) The first three, include; Sasuke, Sakura, and the main character, Naruto Uzumaki. The fourth character is the Jounin leader of team 7, and is the sensei to these three until after the Chunin where Jiraiya, one of the three legendary sanin says he will train Naruto for 2 and a half years, on the way to find Tsunade (the next hokage) Jiraiya teaches him a technique called, "Rasengan." Then Sasuke goes to Orochimaru for training, and Sakura to Tsunade.

Sasuke Uchiha, heir to one of the most powerful clans in the hidden leaf village. He posseses the Bloodline trait, the Sharingan, which seems to have Originated from the Byakugan of the Hyuuga clan. Though the Sharingan seems to be less powerful and precise than the Byakugan, it can copy and predict an enemy's technique. Sasuke started out with the sharingan in the first season, only with two comma shaped marks but by the 5th season, in the fight with Naruto, he reveals the full power of the Sharingan. Sasuke seems to be the strongest rookie until after the chuunin exams, where Naruto learns the power of the Rasengan, and seems to be jelous of Naruto.

The female ninja, or Kunoichi, of team 7. She resembles Tsunade in many ways, though Kakashi believes she may become stronger than Godaime (or 5th hokage) because she was a Genjutsu type to begin with. She has gained excellent taijutsu and medical-nin skills as she trained with Tsunade for 2 and a half years. After Sakura enters the chuunin exam and cuts her hair, her personality changes a little. She has an enormous crush on Sasuke Uchiha, who doesn't return her feelings for him. She believes that Naruto is an annoying pest, as well as a weakling. 

Naruto Uzumaki is the annoying pest of team 7, and likes to play practical jokes on the people of the village. He believes he's the best ninja in his village, and hopes to become hokage. He seems jelous of Sasuke and is constantly competing with him. He contains the demon fox spirit inside of him and releases it a couple times during the series. During the chuunin exams, he meets Jiraiya, one of the legendary sannin who teaches him to control the demon fox inside him.

Kakashi, the cool and collected Jounin, is the sensei of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. He posseses the Sharingan in his left eye. Though he is not an uchiha, he seems to have almost mastered the kekei gen kai of the great clan. He obtained this from his former team-mate, Obito Uchiha who seems to have passed away, but is shown in the manga through flasbacks. Kakashi earned the name, "The copy ninja of the hidden leaf village" because, he seems to have copied over a thousand jutsu. His signature jutsu, which wasn't copied, the chidori, was named, "Lightning edge" because, Kakashi was said to have cut a bolt of lightning in half.

Tsunade, one of the sannin, has become the 5th hokage, after Sarutobi died. Though she didn't accept it at first, she finally came to her senses and accepted the job. Her skills mostly include chakra control, used for super strength, and a healing chakra, along with another skill of slug summoning. Though she looks like she's in her twenty, she's actually fifty-three. (in shipuuden)

Jiraiya, also known as Pervy sage, Perverted hermit, Ero-sennin, and various other names, he is mostly called this by Naruto, who resembles Jiraiya in many ways. After the Chuunin exams, Jiraiya voluteered to train Naruto for 2 and a half years and then return him to Kakashi. His personality is like Naruto's, yet different. He's lazier and more sarcastic. Though he seems like a total idiot at times, he's a very strong ninja and was once called a genius.
